An accessorial charge is a fee applied for any service performed beyond normal dock-to-dock pick-up and delivery expectations. If your shipment requires special freight handling, select the proper accessorials for both pick-up and delivery when booking, and additional fees may be applied.
In an effort to reduce rebills and other additional charges, once your shipment completes, Mothership will autoselect a small set of accessorials based on the address, including lift gate, residential, and limited access. Please click here to learn more.
Additional charges may also occur if additional labor and time is needed to deliver the shipment and will be sent as adjustment charges.
These fees include but are not limited to the below, and all listed pricing reflects direct shipment fees unless otherwise noted:
Standard Accessorials
Liftgate Free for direct shipments
Trade show $30 flat fee and first 15 minutes free, then $7 per 10 mins
CFS $25 flat fee and first 15 minutes free, then $7 per 10 mins
Inside Service Not available for direct shipments. Fee varies for integrated shipments depending on the LTL partner carrier.
Residential Service Residential service is $25 for direct shipments. Please note that Mothership does not accommodate residential pick-ups.
Alcohol Free for direct shipments
Appointment $45 for local, direct shipments.
Delivery appointment windows $15 for local, single shipment appointments booked through the dashboard. Fee varies for integrated shipments depending on the LTL partner carrier.
Limited Access Free for direct shipments
Amazon Appointments $25 flat fee. Shipments with FBA appointments that are canceled or rescheduled less than 72 hours from the Scheduled Arrival Time are subject to an additional fee. Learn more here.

Driver Assistance $10 per 10 minutes, no inside delivery, hand load / unload

Pallet Storage/Overnight storage: $35 and up for 24 hours direct shipments, varies for integrated.
Additional Pallets $15/per pallet
Oversize Pallet
Width >4 ft - $15 every additional 4' in width
Length >4 ft - $15 every additional 4' in length
Overweight Pallets (>833 lbs) - $15 for every additional 833 lbs
Return to Sender equal to the quoted base shipment of delivery.
Cancellation Fee $49 minimum to cancel direct shipments. Fees for integrated LTL shipments vary by carrier and start at $199
Hazmat service Hazmat shipments are serviced by integrated LTL partner carriers. Fees vary by carrier.
