Now with ShipBot via API, you can receive smart accessorial suggestions programmatically. ShipBot gives you more control, allowing you to make the final decision on which accessorials to apply.

How does Mothership determine when to suggest a specific accessorial?
Mothership uses a combination of public and proprietary data sources to identify whether a location is:
A residence
A limited-access location
A CFS
A tradeshow venue
Based on this, we’ll suggest the appropriate accessorials for your quote.
We’ve also expanded our address database to improve the detection of residential and limited-access locations, resulting in more accurate and timely suggestions.
Additionally, open and close hours will be automatically added to the pick-up and delivery locations when available.
How do I know if an accessorial has been suggested for my shipment?
Accessorial suggestions appear next to any accessorials that have been identified for your shipment. They are not pre-selected, giving you full control to opt in.
