A truck waiting fee is charged by the hour when a driver is forced to wait at the pick-up or delivery location for reasons beyond the driver's control.
Driver is picking up or delivering at a congested port or warehouse
Freight is not ready
No one is available to receive driver for pickup or delivery
More freight is given than listed on BOL and driver must wait for freight to be reorganized and consolidated in order to fit
Pick-up or delivery address is wrong
