The Carrier Bill Processing Fee is applied when our team must proactively review, investigate, dispute, or process an adjustment charge for your LTL shipment. When our team sees an adjustment charge (weight adjustment, liftgate, etc.) from our LTL partner carriers, they work to verify the discrepancy.

They do this on behalf of the customer to ensure that there are no miscellaneous charges being applied to the shipment. The investigation process takes additional time outside of the standard shipping process, which is why the admin fee is applied.

To avoid processing fees for adjustments, be sure to select the correct accessorials at booking. A list of our available accessorials and their associated fees can be found here.
