The Carrier Bill Processing Fee is applied when our team must proactively review, investigate, dispute, or process a rebill for your LTL shipment. When our team sees a rebill (weight adjustment, liftgate, etc.) from our LTL partner carriers, they work to verify the discrepancy.
They do this on behalf of the customer to ensure that there are no miscellaneous charges being applied to the shipment. The investigation process takes additional time outside of the standard shipping process, which is why the admin fee is applied.
