How Your Mothership Inbox Works

Your all-in-one notification center for important updates. This article will help you set your notifications and navigate your inbox.

What is Mothership Inbox?

Inbox stores all of your real-time updates in the dashboard, creating easy access to your notifications without checking your email, making calls, or contacting support. Now, all of your essential shipment updates are located in one place. Your inbox is completely customizable, so you can stay up-to-date with what matters most.

What kinds of notifications will I receive?

You can receive notifications for the following shipment updates. If you don’t want to receive a specific notification type, you can unsubscribe from it anytime.

  1. Reschedules: Receive when shipment delivery dates or pick updates change. You will be provided with a detailed reason for each change.

  2. Cancellations: Receive updates when a shipment is canceled.

  3. Pickups: Receive updates when shipments are picked up.

  4. Pro Number updates: Receive real-time Pro-number updates to help you track LTL shipments better.

  5. Additional charges: Receive updates for additional charges such as rebills and instantly view inspection reports.

  6. Deliveries: Receive updates when shipments are completed and have successfully made it to delivery. You'll be able to access proofs of delivery instantly.

How do I select which notification I want to receive?

You can select which notifications you'd like to receive in a second. Simply open your Inbox Settings by clicking the inbox icon in the top right corner of your dashboard and clicking on the gear icon.

Your Inbox settings are individual to your preferences. Changes made here will not affect other team members in your organization. They will receive notifications based on their individual preferences.

Inbox > Settings ⚙️ > then checkbox each notification type you'd like to receive.

Do my Inbox preferences affect other messages I receive?

Your Inbox preferences only change the types of notifications that appear in your Inbox. To set your email preferences, you can learn more about that here.

Who on my team gets notified?

Every team member will be able to access a company-wide Inbox and receive all notifications for that company. Only specific roles can place, edit, or cancel shipments and have access to make payment method changes. To learn more about team member roles, click here.
