National Full Truckload (FTL) Shipping
Mothership now offers National Full Truckload (FTL)
Mothership now offers National Full Truckload (FTL) shipping, powered by our partnership with Echo Global Logistics. This lets you quote, book, and track FTL shipments directly in the Mothership dashboard — with access to an ultra-reliable carrier network across the continental US.
Note: This is different from full truckload shipping within a Mothership local zone. Local FTL shipments continue to be owned and operated by the Mothership carrier network.
Getting a Quote & Coverage
How do I get an FTL quote? Use the regular booking flow — just enter your shipment details and we'll automatically return FTL rates for shipments of 8 or more pallets.
Where can I ship FTL? Anywhere in the continental US (lower 48 states). We're launching with Echo Global Logistics, with Uber Freight and Arrive coming soon. The best way to check coverage for your specific lane is to generate a quote.
Do you ship FTL to Canada or Mexico? Not yet — US domestic only at launch.
Equipment & Capacity
What type of trucks are used?
53-foot dry van trailers. Reefer and flatbed options are coming in a future update.
How many pallets can I ship?
FTL shipments can be up to 45,000 lbs.
Carriers & Reliability
Which carriers will handle my shipment? Are they reliable?
Your shipment will be fulfilled by vetted carriers within our partners' networks — the same carrier networks used by some of the largest freight brokerages in the country.
Booking & Documentation
Who generates the Bill of Lading (BOL)?
Mothership generates the BOL, just like we do for LTL shipments. You can download it from the shipment's tracking page on our website.
Do you offer delivery appointments?
Delivery appointments are not available at this time. The driver will arrive on the estimated delivery date during the location's standard receiving hours. If the driver is delayed or arrives early, they'll typically coordinate directly with the receiving location.
A shipment confirmation email is sent to the delivery contact you provide at booking — but it's your responsibility to ensure the delivery location is prepared to receive a full truckload on the estimated delivery date.
Can I cancel an FTL shipment after booking?
Yes, but contact Mothership support as soon as possible. Cancellation fees may apply depending on how close to pickup the request is made — the earlier, the better.
Tracking & Updates
How do I track my FTL shipment?
The same way you track any Mothership shipment. Each FTL shipment gets its own tracking page on our website, just like LTL or local shipments.
What status updates will I receive?
You'll receive the same email updates you're used to from our LTL and local shipments.
Support
Who do I contact if something goes wrong?
Reach out to Mothership support. Since FTL is a new service, our support team is prioritizing FTL-related questions — please include "FTL" in your message so we can route your ticket quickly.
