How do I set a delivery appointment? (National LTL Partner Carriers)

National LTL Partner Carriers (LTL outside of local zones):

Appointments are set by the LTL partner carrier upon arrival at the final delivery terminal.

Select the "Appointment" accessorial and ensure the on-site contact information (email and phone number) for the delivery recipient is correct, as this will be used to schedule the appointment. Including PO numbers and reference notes helps to identify the shipment to the receiver.

Transit days may be affected depending on appointment availability of the carrier.

Residential deliveries

When selecting the "Residential" accessorial, please note that this type of delivery works similarly to the appointment setting process, as delivery must be coordinated with the receiver.

Ensure the on-site contact information (email and phone number) for the delivery recipient is correct, as this will be used to schedule the appointment. Including PO numbers and reference notes helps to identify the shipment to the receiver.
