Overview
We’ve created an LTL carrier scorecard to help customers make more informed decisions when selecting their carrier on Mothership's dashboard. The scorecard will rank carriers based on critical performance metrics and list service attributes, enabling customers to select the best-fit carrier for their shipping needs and set clear service expectations
How often is this updated?
This will be updated quarterly and shared with all active customers.
Rating | Performance Level | Description |

4.5 stars | Very Good | Strong performance with rare issues. Exceeds expectations in most areas. |
4 stars | Good | Dependable and consistent. Performs well and is above average within the network. |
3.5 stars | Fair | Meets Mothership’s high standards with some areas for improvement. Generally performs well. |

How are performance metrics calculated?
Each carrier receives an Overall Rating (3.0 – 5.0 stars) based on their performance in three key areas:
On-Time Rating (50%)
Measures the percentage of shipments delivered on time.
High star rating = consistently meets or beats delivery windows.
Low star rating = frequent delays or missed delivery commitments.
Claims Rating (25%)
Measures the frequency of claims related to lost or damaged freight.
High star rating = low claim rates per shipment.
Low star rating = frequent claims or high-value damage incidents.
Rebill Rating (25%)
Measures the frequency and severity of rebills due to incorrect or missing information.
High star rating = accurate billing and documentation.
Low star rating = recurring rebills, often with high costs or significant discrepancies.
