What is white glove service?

White Glove deliveries are shipments that require special attention. This often means the shipment will be professionally packaged and delivered, and typically includes installation or assembly upon delivery.

Note that Mothership does not offer white glove service on any of its freight shipments.

Is there a surcharge for stairs or using an elevator?

Yes. Carrying freight up or down stairs, or moving it via elevator, goes beyond standard dock-to-dock or first-doorway delivery, so it's a white-glove / additional-handling service with its own surcharge. Standard inside delivery only brings freight just past the first doorway — it does not include stairs, elevators, or room-of-choice placement. Request stair/elevator handling at booking so it's priced in.
