How do I return a shipment to the sender, and what does it cost?
How returns to the sender work and how they're charged.
Returning freight to the shipper (a return-to-sender, or RTS) is booked as its own new shipment back to the origin — it isn't a free reversal of the original order. If freight was refused or the wrong items were sent, contact Support with your shipment number and we'll help set up the return. Expect a new charge for the return leg (priced like any shipment on that lane), plus any storage that accrued while the freight waited.
