# How to download rebills as a CSV

## Download one rebill, several, or your full filtered view as a CSV to review and reconcile post-shipment charges.

You can now download rebills as a CSV from Manage billing → Rebills in your Mothership dashboard. It works the same way as exporting invoices, so you can review and reconcile post-shipment charges faster.

### **Where do I find my rebills?**

1. Log in to the Dashboard and click Manage billing in the left sidebar.
2. Under View billing documents, switch from Invoices to Rebills.
3. Use the status filters (All, Action required, Under review, Info needed, Waived, Resolved), Filter by date, and Sort to find the rebills you need.

### **How to download rebills as a CSV**

#### **Option 1: Download specific rebills**

1. Go to Manage billing → Rebills.
2. Check the box next to each rebill you want to include.
3. Click Export to download the CSV. \[Editor note: confirm the exact button label in the live UI before publishing.\]

#### **Option 2: Export your current filtered view**

1. Go to Manage billing → Rebills.
2. Select a status filter (for example, Action required) and use Filter by date to narrow the list.
3. Choose export for the current view to download every rebill that matches your filters. If the set is large, you may be asked to confirm before the download starts.

#### **What's in the CSV?**

**One row per charge line item.** If a rebill has more than one charge (for example, a reweigh and a liftgate fee), each charge appears on its own row. Rebill-level details, such as the rebill number, status, and dates, repeat on each row for that rebill so you can sort and filter the file easily.

Columns include:

- Status
- Respond by
- Charge amount
- Carrier processing fee
- Charge total
- Amount due
- Dispute reason and notes, when present

**Values are frozen at export time.** The CSV shows each rebill as it stood when you downloaded it. If a status or amount changes later, for example after a dispute is resolved, export again to get the latest information.

**Charge total vs. Amount due**

- **Charge total** is the full size of the rebill (charge amount plus carrier processing fee). It stays the same even if the rebill is later waived, approved, or paid, so you always have a record of the original charge.
- **Amount due** is what you owe at the time of export. It's typically the same as the charge total when a rebill is open and unpaid, and $0 when the rebill has been waived, approved, or already paid.

### **Frequently asked questions**

**Can I download a rebill as a PDF?**

No. Rebills don't have PDFs, so CSV is the only download format for rebills.

**Can I download more than one rebill at a time?**

Yes. You can select individual rebills, select several in the current view, or export your full filtered view. You may see a confirmation if the set is large.

**Does this work like invoice download?**

Yes, the select and export steps are the same as on the Invoices view. The format is different: invoices can be downloaded as a PDF or exported as a CSV, while rebills export as CSV only.

**Is XLSX (Excel) format available?**

Not at this time. CSV files open in Excel, Google Sheets, and most accounting tools.

**Why don't the amounts in my CSV match what I see in the dashboard?**

Values in the CSV are frozen at the moment you export. If a rebill's status or amount has changed since then, download a new CSV.

**Do document links expire?**

No. Document links in your export don't expire, so you can open them anytime after you save the file.

**Who is this for?**

Any shipper reconciling rebills in Manage billing, especially teams processing many rebills at once or exporting charges for finance and accounting workflows.
