Will the driver help move my freight, and what does it cost?
Standard delivery is curbside, but you can add driver assist (also called delivery assistance) for a small fee (about $10 per 10 minutes) for light help. For full room-of-choice placement and unpacking, that's white glove service, which is separate. Details below.
A driver assistance fee, also known as a handling fee, is charged when a carrier is required to load or unload freight beyond using their pallet jack. This would include carrying boxes or breaking down/building pallets.
