How to request a carrier's liability certificate for building or venue access.
Some buildings, venues, and job sites require a carrier liability COI (the carrier's auto/general liability coverage) on file before they'll allow a delivery. This is different from the cargo-insurance COI for FreightProtect™ coverage.
To request a carrier liability COI, contact Support with your shipment number and the certificate holder details the building requires (name, address, and any specific wording). Allow lead time, since the certificate is issued by the assigned carrier, and availability can vary by carrier.
