# Can I unsubscribe from Mothership emails?

## Manage which Mothership emails and notifications you receive.

### How do I manage my email notifications?

You can self-serve toggle each of the five subscription types — **Billing, News, Shipment Documents, Shipment Tracking, and Arrival Notifications** — in your [Notification preferences](https://dashboard.mothership.com/settings/email-preferences). Steps below.

#### **Mothership offers several types of email subscriptions to customers, including:**

**Billing Information**

Get notified about all charges, refunds, and payment method changes.

**Latest News, Features & Promotions**

Get notified about our latest news, features, services, and promotions.

**Shipment Documents**

Get all shipment-related documents, like Bills of Lading and Delivery Receipts, emailed to you as soon as they're available.

**Shipment Tracking**

Get notified of shipment status and ETA change updates.

**Arrival Notifications**

Get real-time alerts when drivers arrive for pickup or delivery, including shipment details and tracking links to keep your team informed and ready.

#### **Can I choose which types of email subscriptions I receive from Mothership?**

Yes, you can choose which types of emails you receive from Mothership. Head to the settings in your dashboard and go to the "Email Preferences" page. Here, you can update your email preferences at any time.

#### **How often will I receive emails from Mothership?**

The frequency of emails you receive from Mothership will vary depending on the type of subscription.

**Billing Information**

- Billing and account emails will be sent on a semi-regular basis.

**Latest News, Features & Promotions**

- Emails will be sent periodically, including weekly newsletters and new feature announcements.

**Shipment Documents**

- Shipment documents will be sent as they become available for download or in your dashboard.

**Shipment Tracking**

- Shipment updates will be sent as your shipments progress from pick-up to delivery or when an updated ETA becomes available.

**Arrival Notifications**

- Arrival notifications will be sent in real time when a driver reaches the pickup or delivery location for your shipment.
- The automated arrival phone-call notifications that occur when a local driver arrives at pickup and delivery are a separate system from your email notification preferences — turning off emails does not stop the calls, and the calls currently can't be turned off from notification settings.

#### **Will I miss important information if I unsubscribe from Mothership emails?**

If you choose to unsubscribe from Mothership, it's possible that you may miss important information. However, you can resubscribe at any time by updating your email preferences through the settings page in the dashboard.
